So happy to be able to have a resource like Max with access to the absolute top of the sport. Even though I am just a wimpy cat 2, it’s great to be able to benefit from his involvement with BMC and the pro tour. When I started working with Max and Carrie I was a cat 5 and today I received my confirmation from USA Cycling that I am a cat 2 rider now!
Cory is the bomb. There are no two ways about it. In-freakin’-valuable. I feel so very lucky to have his help. He really keeps things interesting with varied workouts. I would not be getting out nearly as much as I am without him.
You did a great job, thanks for a fun time! Please also thank the entire team, they were all incredibly accommodating and nice.
You definitely should pat yourselves on the back for running such a wonderful inaugural training camp! Red Mountain Spa was a perfect destination for St. George as they provided an excellent location, healthy food, great optional lunches along with facilities for our lectures and yoga and pilates. Ron was extremely impressed with pilates and on our return he ordered a book on pilates for men.
The bike routes were excellent especially the Veyo Loop with the famous “wall” where we could practice our VO2 max climb. Cory pushed me to the limit on that one!
The Sand Hollow Resevoir Loop was also a good location for our second day. I enjoyed my two climbs with Jenny, but have to admit that instead of following Max’s directions of going fast for two minutes and taking it easier for two minutes I pretty much went full steam ahead for both! I was impressed by our winter power training as my numbers have gotten much better. Unfortunately, I believe without the interval intensity over the summer I lose the added conditioning that I gain over the winter.
Just dropped by to say ‘thanks’ for the great job you did leading our class. It may sound silly, but I really appreciate that you were always on time and prepared for the session. Sunday I’m doing hill repeats (2) from Cisco Grove to Truckee so I’m anxious to try out my new Max Testa climbing legs!
As a competitive age-group triathlete, I am always seeking new avenues to propel my performance in each of the disciplines. In that spirit, I have been actively training with Max from 2009 in effort to improve my cycling performance. Under Max’s direction and programming, I have shifted my lactate threshold and top end power significantly! In 2009, my lactate threshold (LT2) was 245 watts, and in my most recent test my lactate threshold (LT2) had increased to 320 watts, a 30.5% increase in 4 short years! Max’s program helped me qualify for the Xterra World Championships in 2012 and the ITU Off-Road World Championships in 2013.
Corey Hart of Max Testa Training is my secret weapon. Corey has the ability to evaluate the training system as a whole; by assessing the physiology, lifestyle, travel, training adaptations, and individual psychology, Corey fits it all into one picture to create the perfect training plan to optimize your athletic potential.
My cycling has improved significantly since I started Max Testa Training Indoor Cycling classes. As a professional triathlete I have seen my bike splits go from being my weakest of the three disciplines in triathlon to my strength. I’ve seen improvements in my power, pedal stroke and overall fitness, it is some of the best and consistent training I can do during the off-season. As a new mother, the classes also helped me get my fitness back postpartum. Max Testa caters to all level of athletes from those trying to lose weight and get fit to top-tier athletes. It’s also been a great way to network with other cyclists in Park City.
A special thanks to all the MTT TEAM. You took great care of us and made the whole experience perfect! We came away with an even harder training regimen that will keep us going. Count us in for Napa. Again, many thanks and kudos to all who made it possible.
I am very lucky to have had the amazing opportunity to work with Corey Hart for my whole cycling career, over ten years! Corey has brought me to the very highest level of cycling. He is a huge part of my success in the sport and an asset that could not be replaced. His vast knowledge of physiology, the mental aspect and race expertise puts him in a category well above other coaches.
Corey has taken my cycling and racing to a whole new level. From day to day training sessions to race strategy, Corey has provided me with the structure and advice I needed to achieve my goals for the season.
As a professional athlete one of the most important ingredients to success is being prepared for the toughest competition. Over the past four years I’ve worked with Corey Hart as my coach. In that time Corey has helped propel me to the top of my game. I have full confidence in Corey’s ability to scientifically analyze my data and create training plans that are best suited for me. Without a doubt Corey’s knowledge of what an athlete needs coupled with his tactical sense of bike racing allows him to be one of the best in this business.
