Congratulations! Based on initial lactate testing results our overall starting fitness level has improved. Taking advantage of the riding we enjoyed outside on the road, Max has changed the approach to this first indoor training block. Although the intensity remains the same the intervals are longer, resulting in more challenging workouts. Hints of power zone 4 are also making an early debut.
While creating a solid foundation in our “bread and butter” base (power zone 3), we continue to incorporate SFR’s for muscular endurance, short accelerations for enhanced neuro-muscular recruitment and single leg drills for smooth pedal form and leg balance. Enjoy!
